I read your post above about what fonts you are using and it's nothing like I see!
I still see Matisse in the message board at work and Blackadder at home, but I use Explorer on both machines. How bizarre! The rest of the sites looks like Times, so, I'm completely lost!

I like Ariel, use it exclusively. If you change, please stay with a sans-serif!

Nearly every site on earth uses Times. It would seem browsers handle fonts so poorly nobody wants to risk using something else because someone will complain they can't read it. This reminds me of Java, where nobody writes applets for the exact same reason.

Please chime in with how good or bad the fonts on these pages look. Please let us know what browser and what operating system you're using.

Many browsers have the option of the user specifying default fonts, sizes, and colors. Some, like NetScape and Mozilla, allow the user to increase and decrease the font size on-the-fly (e.g. by using ctrl+num-pad-minus and ctrl+num-pad-plus). So there are things we're not able to counteract. But perhaps with some more information we can fix it SOME.

I'm even willing to try Times again, but I might have to change some of the pages around so I can increase the size. *I* need to be able to read it too, and Times is difficult to read on my screen.

I've turned off all font specification for the message board. Who hates it? Who loves it?
