| Well, looks like life in the US is fun!
I would say that there is a parallel NY-US and London-UK, though. People who live in London feel like London IS the UK. The rest of the country is completely ignored. (I'm one of the guilty ones!) |

| The web site DNS, which is here in my house, was unavailable until just now (and might go out again) because the construction dig near our house was FIREBOMBED the other day. This burned up both our land lines, including our DSL line. Oh, joy!
So, to those of you who noticed the web site was unavailable, actaully the site was here and working, the DNS was just unreachable. For those of you who still had the aluna.com path, you could still have gotten here. Well anyway, with no guarentees, and just now as I'm about to go to sleep, our DSL line is back on. Hopefully it will stay that way. Oh, sure, a couple of toy granades with gun powder in them break a planter and some glass in NEW YORK and the whole freaking WORLD hears about it endlessly for days. But public utilities get FIREBOMBED, stranding dozens or hundreds of telephone customers in San Francisco, and nobody hears about it ANYWHERE. What the hell? |
