| Yesterday, My 16 year old daughter surprised my wife and I by returning home from a trip to the mall with a bob haircut. When asked why she cut her hair, we were told that since Paris Hilton began sporting her new bob hairstyle, Bobs have gained popularitythroughout her school, as evidenced by my daughter's friend also returned home with a bob. It appears Paris has either started a cult following or has jumpstarted a bob resurgence. |

| From the pictures I saw of Paris's bob, I like it. It's smooth, sleek and has some curl and volume. It's close to a 60s style bob and unlike many of the contemporary so called bobs which hurt my eyes.
It would be great if this starts a trend away from broken spaghetti, shredded, limp and shapeless styles that abound today. I continue to hope. |

| When I was out last night, I spotted in a bar in town, a young lady walk past me, who can't have been more that about 20-21 with one of the best angled a line bobs I'd seen in a long while! I thought the style had gone out of fashion but occasionally it still pops up.
It had a left side parting and sloped at the sides with a curved inwards upper back which was quite high up but with the top part of the back overhanging nicely. No shaven nape exactly but it was still lovely though! |
